In the Beginning, God created the heavens and the earth!

Genesis 1:1  

 Perchance you’ve heard this verse so much that you really just think about the verse as the opening statement to the Bible.   Perhaps you’ve read the Bible many times in your life or have sat through Bible classes or have heard sermons preached and when it comes to the first verse of the Bible you just think of it in terms of an introduction.   There is actually much more to this one verse in Genesis 1 than just saying this is the way God decided to introduce his scriptures.   I’d like to suggest that God starts talking about creation first, because in creation we see a picture or a glimpse of how God wants us to know that the earth was designed.
